Pavlus and Karas scholarship applications are now being accepted, and are due September 2. If you would like an application, please call or email the church office.
Starting September 9, we are trying a new worship time of 10:30, with an integenerational learning time at 9:30. Look for more information soon about these exciting plans.
BOOK CLUB AUGUST 19TH 11:30-1:00PM, West Fellowship Hall
Everyone is welcome to come to our Lyonsville Book Club on Sunday, Aug 19th. We will be discussing the book, Still Alice by Lisa Genova. (Copies of the book will be available to check out at church around 7/22 through Laurie Tsukuno.) Any questions, please see Laurie.
LABYRINTH WALK—August 11
Please join us for a peaceful, restful and meditative walk around our candlelit labyrinth. It takes about 20 minutes to walk it. If you are new to the labyrinth, we have someone there to help you get started. Come and walk anytime between 4:00-6:00pm. (Please arrive no later than 5:30
One of our current mission projects is to collect school supplies for The LeaderShop. The supplies are due Friday, August 10th.
They are in needs of the follows:
- washable & dry erase markers
- wide ruled notebooks
- packages of loose leaf paper
- dual pocket folders (sturdy)
- school glue (stick or bottled)
- binders (1″ or 1.5″)
- pencils (#2 wooden or mechanical)
- pencil cases (any kind)
- pens (black, blue, red)
- scissors (rounded tip)

Pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House
We are collecting pop tabs to take to the Ronald McDonald House. We will have a collection container located in the fellowship hall. If you have any questions please see Cindi Fiandaca.
Box Tops for Education
We are also collecting Box Tops for Education to give to Byrne School. Collecting Box Tops is an easy way for schools to earn cash. It’s easy to find Box Tops (a list will be by the collection box). In fact, you may have some in your home right now. All you have to do is clip the Box Tops from your favorite products and put them in the collection container located in the fellowship hall. If you have any questions please see a member of the Mission Board.

Community Nurse Collection
New onesies, new receiving blankets, baby hats, bandages designed for children, and small, soft animals (e.g. Beanie Babies) are being collected.
