Special Delivery from Pastor Sean!

Pastor Sean will stop by and deliver each household the UCC’s booklet “Emerge: Blessings & Rituals for Unsheltering” which is a fantastic resource for living during COVID-19. He will also deliver something special for the kids! For those not home, he will leave the items in a safe place.

Friday, September 11

7pm: Community Book Discussion – “How to Be An Anti-Racist”

Co-Hosted with the Community Diversity Group of La Grange and several area congregations and organizations. Click here for more information and to register.

Saturday, September 12

10am-noon: Chapel Set Up
Up to five volunteers are needed to rearrange furniture and spruce up the chapel to begin livestreaming. Self-certification of health, masks, and social distancing will be required. To register, contact Lauren McSweeney.

Sunday, September 13

10am: “Be The Church” Worship Service with reception of new members
This is a big Sunday! It will be the first Sunday where the worship service (still over Zoom and telephone) is run from the chapel. We will launch a “Be the Church” worship series, and welcome new members to the congregation. Information on joining the worship service is on the homepage.

After worship: Film Discussion – 13th
We will discuss the film 13th, available on Netflix and YouTube. Discussion led by Karen Oberg and Pastor Sean.

3pm: 29th Annual Race Unity Rally
Held on Zoom this year, this annual event features an exciting keynote speaker, thought-provoking presentations, inspiring performances, and more. Pastor Sean will be giving the invocation. For more information and to register, click here.
