Sharing our Stimulus

Pledging is now open for the Caring for Neighbors: Sharing our Stimulus Relief Fund

The Mission Team invites all who are able to donate all of some of stimulus funds received from the federal government’s relief package. By pooling our resources we can make a big impact locally, in order to love our neighbors and let God’s light shine through us.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 together — and we absolutely can. In worship on Sunday, when our theme is “Sharing All We Can,” we will have a structured conversation as a congregation to decide where to direct the funds. We are suggesting that we choose between:

•    The Constance Morris House
•    Pillars Community Health
•    The LeaderShop
•    BEDS Plus

We also invite you to nominate another organization if you feel that would be the best use of these funds. You can nominate organizations using the pledge form even if you aren’t able to pledge at this time. Nominations do need to be submitted by Saturday. Money raised is currently going to BEDS Plus.

To have your pledge included in the total shared on April 26, please submit your pledge by Saturday, April 25. Of course, pledges will glad be accepted after that date! Pledging is still open.

Paper forms went out today to those who don’t use email and are available by request to Nayna Byers. Please direct any questions to Judy Birmingham or Pastor Sean.
