Thank you for this post! Sorry for the late reply though.

How do you practice mindfulness? I practise mindfulness with meditations (formal but also informal like yoga or tai chi), deep breathing techniques and doing my best to stay aware of what kind of thoughts are running through my mind.

What are ways you can be mindful? I can be mindful with people, truly listen without judgment, with  eating, noticing the taste, the structure of the food or in walking, feeling the earth underneath my feet, the pressure of my step etc. - just 3 examples

Where can we practice mindfulness exercises? Practically anywhere, I can use 5 senses meditation in my garden for example

When can we be mindful? I try to be mindful as much as possible

Who reminds us to increase mindfulness? Our outside and inner world making us aware of conflict by us reacting to them - a sign that change is needed.

  1. I practice mindfulness but reminding myself that I can only do much throughout the day and speak my mind when I am feeling down to my husband.
  2. I can be mindful by allowing myself to stay kind and compassionate to myself.
  3. at home, out in nature, at the gym, and wherever you feel necessary!
  4. when ever we need too!
  5. Our loved ones usually they know us or ourselves!

How do you practice mindfulness?

Whenever I think of it. I'm trying to be more mindful. So my practice is mostly about being mindful about being mindful. So I try to be proud of myself for trying and try to ignore how it works out.

So, if I catch myself gossiping, I try to be pleased of my awareness, rather than focusing on my continued unkindness.

Or if I catch myself being tense and pause long enough for one breath stretch, I try to congratulate myself on noticing and doing something, even if I immediately go back to being tense and stressed.
