Happy Birthday! Share & Celebrate Your Birthday With Us!!

...See more Hello, 7 Cups Residents, 7 Cups is a community of compassion and support. We at 7Cups believe in acknowledging and celebrating milestones, accomplishments, special moments, and days. Days like Birthdays and Cupsversay (Anniversary at 7Cups) are some of the most important days of our lives. We want to join in your celebration and celebrate you in our own style - the 7Cups way. We share love bombs, birthday wishes, shout-outs, cookies, cakes, glitter, and hugs. We come together to celebrate each other because you matter to us. You are a part of our community and we are blessed to have you. Thank you for being a 7 Cups resident. * If it is your birthday, please let us know here. * If it is the birthday of someone you know here, please share with us here. Also, we would love to hear how would you like to celebrate your birthday here on 7 Cups or any experiences of your birthday that you are comfortable sharing with us. Also, Do you know? * You can host a small party for your friend! A 15-30 min banner can be set by a mod in the community room so you can celebrate the birthday party. The party should not clash with any prior scheduled event (check tockify [https://www.7cups.com/home/communityCalendar.php]). Please reach out to the community mod on duty to let them know of the party and ask them to set an alert so more people can join in the fun. Both members and listeners can host, there are no requirements to who can throw a party! * You can also make a post for them Click here [https://www.7cups.com/forum/PositivityGratitude_170/HonoringBirthdaysCupversaries_179/] to see the forum section where you can make posts to celebrate birthdays. * Some rules to follow: 🎈 While it is okay to celebrate someone's special day, it is not okay to make others feel excluded. If someone is unaware of who is being celebrated, provide them some context and make an effort to include them. 🎈 All celebratory parties are public, this means anyone can join and they should be welcomed wholeheartedly. 🎈 The host who requested/set up the banner is required to stay for the whole party and ensure that everyone present feels welcomed and included. While it can be a good idea to show your appreciation and acknowledgment through such events but please don't feel pressured to host or attend any party. This is just an option for those interested. If your birthday is coming up and you want to throw yourself a party, that is also perfectly okay! We encourage and celebrate self-care and self-love. Let's work together to make each other's special days more fun! Happy Birthday, fellow cupser. I wish you a lovely birthday and a thriving year filled with joy and accomplishments.

...See more Hey hey lovelies, I hope y'all are doing great. ❤ As a proud team member of the Peer Appreciation Program, I'm immensely excited to share this wonderful update with everyone. Our project has received lots of love from the community and has surely spread it hundredfold around lol, initially we came up with the idea of appreciating our peers, considering the fact, our community is huuuuge and filled with kind, compassionate, supportive, *inserts a million other adjectives to describe awesome people here* folks- it makes sense that when we see something good in others, we likely feel inspired by them and might even hope and try to imbibe their good qualities. Okay so appreciating people around is super cool, no doubts about that. Buttttt, what is equally cool? Brownie points if you guessed it lol, it is, *drum rolls* –--- Appreciating Ourselves. Yes, you heard that right, you humble being. :P Here's some food for thought- Not many people find it comfortable to appreciate themselves, for xyz reasons- no worries at all and definitely no judgment whatsoever, I understand how difficult it can be and I know it firsthand because I am one of you xD but but but, we try out so many different things, for once (or once again), we can certainly try being more kind to ourselves, expressing self love and as someone once said- saying good things about yourself with meaning is the best way to express self love and encourage thyself to continually work on becoming a better version. Something that I've experienced to create some positive impact is looking at oneself through an outside- non biased, non judgmental, accepting and kind perspective. Often we might not see ourselves as how someone else does, and chances are, we miss out on seeing and valuing the good in us. Now now, how sad would it be, to be awesome but unaware about your awesomeness— Let's Change That ~ One awesome quality to become aware of, at a time. How about we consider ourselves a peer too, and appreciate ourselves? This could be literally anything under the sun (the one that shines in the sky, yes 😛) Here's some examples of things you can submit the form for: ♡ Any and every good quality in yourself ♡ Any achievement you're proud of (and hey, getting outta bed when you don't feel like it *is* an achievement) ♡ Anything you like and appreciate in yourself physically (You got good hair? Tell us, also tell us the healthy hair secrets) ♡ Anything else about you, that makes you feel good and happy ♡ A letter to past "you" from current "you"- sharing how far you've come, Or ♡ A letter to future "you" from current "you"- sharing how you envision your future self ♡ A letter to current "you"- sharing something you'd really like to hear from someone ♡ Anything else I may have missed, but you'd like to appreciate yourself for Are we feeling pumped enough to appreciate ourselves and get that self love kick in? Yes or Yes (?) No further wait, appreciate your forever #1 aka *you* here [https://tinyurl.com/PeerAppreciation] (clickable). ❤ As always, feedback, and suggestions are more than welcome, feel free to share your thoughts with us. ❤

...See more I write this post after much delay for which I apologize for - but this post is dedicated to @kylersartpace who recently celebrated their birthday but didn't want to do anything big about it Thank you Kyler for being your humble self every day! I like how you dance to your own music and try you best to go through every challenge you face. You've grown so much since I've known you too. Seeing you in the rooms always brings some light into my day. While being on the adult side has had its challenges, I want you to know the teens, mods, and everyone who meet you all appreciate you. So this is not a birthday present per se - its our appreciation too. Thank you for letting us be part of your story! I will never forget your care for others or your passion for helping animals or studying related science. I believe you'll do remarkable things and wish you all the best. From Anne the Banane! The Potato 🥔🍠🍟 And the Not Potato 🍦🍕

...See more Potatoes 🥔 – They can be so many things: mashed, baked, fries, even chips. The possibilities are endless ✨ Potatoes are many people's favorite. Yay for carbs and their endless variety. But every now and then, you might want something not potato. It’s great to love potatoes, but that doesn't mean you can only want potatoes. Sometimes, it’s easy to fall into a potato rut. We get stuck in a cycle where we’re eating potatoes just because they’re there—not because we really want them. And while potatoes are great, too many can leave you feeling… well, a little too starchy. It’s okay to take a break and eat something less potato. Treat yourself to some ice cream or pizza! You don’t have to keep eating potatoes just to please anyone, or because it’s comfortable, or because that’s what everyone expects. Life’s not just about what’s on your plate, but ✨ what feels right for you ✨ You deserve variety, balance, and the freedom to enjoy your carbs in whatever form you choose. So, cheers to potatoes—and to knowing when it’s time to step away and try something new! ⭐ What is your potatoes, and when was the last time you gave yourself permission to skip them to enjoy your scoop of ice cream and slice of pizza? 🥔💜

A Story of "A Father, A son, and The Sky"
by brightOcean1599

...See more Hey Everyone 👋 I hope you all are doing well! 😊 I have been here for some time, and I wanted to share a small story with you all. This story feels relevant and is close to my heart. Here it is... ------------------------- A Father, A son, and The Sky  On one late breezy evening, under a vast sparkling sky, a father and his little son sat together on a hill beneath an old tree. The moon was shining brightest over everything, and the world felt peaceful and still. The boy leaned back to his father, gazing up at the sky above his head with utter curiosity. “Papa,” he said softly, breaking the silence. “Why do we like looking at the sky so much? I feel like, I could stare at it forever and never get bored of it.” The father smiled and looked up. “That’s because the sky holds something greater than stars and planets. It reminds us of an invisible power that watches over us, guiding and protecting us. The sky is everywhere, just like this power. It’s always there, always watching.” The boy’s eyes shone widened. “So… this power never rests? It doesn't get tired ever?” The father chuckled. “No, it doesn’t need to rest. This power watches over us because it cares deeply. It sees when we choose kindness and honesty, and when we make choices that might hurt others. Depending on what we choose, it helps us by bringing us good things or teaching us lessons when we stray.” The boy thought for a moment, the moonlight reflecting in his eyes. Asked, “But how will I know what’s good and what’s bad?” The father placed his hand on the boy's shoulder gently. “Good things make people happy. They mean not hurting anyone, not taking what doesn’t belong to us, and always telling the truth. Bad things are the opposite, they bring hurt or sadness. It’s simple. When you’re doing something, ask yourself, ‘Will this make someone smile or cause them pain?’ If it makes them smile, it’s good; if not, think twice.” The boy nodded, deep in thought. “So if I choose to do good things, does the invisible power reward me?" “Yes,” the father replied gently. “It will be very pleased. Rewards might come in ways you don’t expect. You might feel happier, sleep more peacefully, or someday when you need kindness, someone will be there for you. Kindness and goodness always have a way of finding their way back to us.” The boy looked back up at the sky, smiled, and said, “I want to do more good things" Feeling warmth in his heart, the father looked at his son with pride. “That’s a beautiful choice. Remember, no matter how big or small, every act of goodness is like a tiny light in the world. And together, all those little lights make it as bright and beautiful as the night sky.” They stayed there a little longer, enjoying the view of the stellar sky. *The image used here is generated through AI. Thanks for reading! Let me remind you that this fictional story has a part of what I heard as a child, I have added some things to it further. Do let me know, “What does the idea of an ‘invisible power’ or a guiding force mean to you? Do you have anything that inspires or guides your choices?” 🌠

...See more It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when things aren’t going our way but it’s important to remember that even on tough days, there’s always a silver lining. Whether it’s a kind word from a friend, a moment of laughter, or simply enjoying a beautiful sunset, small joys can make a big difference. So, let’s try to find the good in each day, no matter how small it seems. Celebrating those little wins can make a big difference! ✨❤️ What’s something good you experienced today?  I’d love to hear your stories and celebrate those little joys together!

...See more Love is sacrificing lower for the higher. Love is selflessness. Love is taking pain to give joy. Love is having a big heart of tolerance and forgiveness. Love is guidance without imposing. Love is remaining detached and doing the best for all. Love is experiencing independent and causeless joy within yourself. Attachment is working "for joy", whereas love is working "out of joy". Love is striving to replace bad habits with good ones. Love is being regular in doing some chosen good engagements every day. Love is thinking and understanding better the wise ways of living. Love is having faith in someone noble and seeking their company very often. Love is doing something difficult every day, because it's good for you. Love is accepting mistakes and not justifying them. Love is believing that one day I will be a better human being, a more fulfilled and content being. Love is treating someone else's pain as yours, and your own pain less important than theirs. Loving is losing oneself for higher values and virtues! In this losing, one wins and finds oneself. Will add more reflections on more topics in response to this thread!
