...See more Hi everyone, I hope you all are well. Did you know you can follow 7 Cups on your favorite social media platforms? Social media can be a mixed place, on one end we can find accounts/pages related to all of our favorite things but on the other hand, it can make us compare ourselves to others and sometimes interact with less than positive content. On our social media accounts, we share positive content focusing on inspirational quotes, the great things happening in our community, and what's up in the mental health world with a little fun in between. Our aim is to provide you with content that is good for your mental health. Following 7Cups social media accounts not only makes a positive impact on your feed, but it also helps us reach more people. More people can know about our platform and can benefit from our mission. That's quite a win, win if you ask me! To acknowledge and show our appreciation for the support you show you and us! Everyone who follows the following social media accounts will receive the ‘Super Supporter badge' Instagram - @7Cups [https://www.instagram.com/7cups/] Twitter - @7Cups [https://twitter.com/7cups] & @7CupsTeen [https://twitter.com/7CupsTeen] Facebook - 7CupsOfTea [https://www.facebook.com/7CupsOfTea/] Youtube - 7 Cups of Tea [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCYsco2bYgzQzUsLnaO899Qg] LinkedIn - 7-cups [https://www.linkedin.com/company/7-cups] You can also follow 7 Cups Academy on LinkedIn! 7-cups-academy [https://www.linkedin.com/company/7-cups-academy/] Step 1) Hit follow! (We understand that not everyone has accounts on all social media platforms so you can follow the ones that you have accounts on) Step 2) Reply to this thread and let us know that you have followed us!
December 2024 Community Update!

...See more Dear Community I enjoyed celebrating Cupsgiving with all of you! A big thank you to all the people that cooked the meals, shared the pies/cookies, and took part in all of the programming. It was great to read the forum posts highlighting the impact of gratitude and generosity! The big news in our world is that we released our local support systems. This is version 1 of us working to bridge online care with offline care. Many people come to 7 Cups looking for help on the ground - they might need access to a food pantry, a shelter, a therapist, a treatment center, or a faith organization. We often make referrals to these places, but we can now do it in a more deliberate manner. Also, you’ll notice if you click here: 7cups.com/local [http://7cups.com/local], you’ll see that we have the beginnings of a parallel mental health system for each country (and many states in the US). We are highlighting the number of people we’ve helped, the number of listeners, and the top 50 mental health issues for each state or country. We hope that these pages become hubs for local support resources so that people can get better help. Feedback and ideas on how we could make this better are very welcome! Last, we are also working on a simple but powerful intervention we are calling the transformation wheel. I’ve asked the team and ambassadors to help me strengthen it before I share it more broadly. Look for more on this in the next week or two. With gratitude, GlenM H Happy Cupsgiving! I hope you’ve been enjoying all the gratitude events our wonderful community has put on. There’s plenty more to look forward to with Cupsmas so keep your eyes out for announcements, and I am excited to be out there celebrating with you! Speaking of gratitude, our caring community is at work each day supporting and uplifting each other through various acts of compassion. Listeners, leaders, and members alike - it could be anyone making a difference through little acts of kindness. I rolled out a recognition activity to catch these moments and tag them! This is community-wide and runs through the end of the year so bookmark/subscribe to this post (Caught You Kind) [https://www.7cups.com/forum/projectsandevents/CommunityActivitiesEvents_1908/JoinOurCaughtYouKindRecognitionCampaign_340430/] and let someone know you see them! The Welcome Committee has been a smashing success! Since its launch in July, our team has welcomed over 19,000+ new members! That's a staggering number, representing 19,000+ unique personal messages. But more importantly, these outreaches have created a vital bridge between newcomers and the 7 Cups community. By reaching out personally, Welcome Committee members are helping our new members feel seen, supported, and equipped to navigate the platform. This warm welcome makes acclimating to 7 Cups a smoother experience, encouraging them to participate and benefit from all the amazing resources and connections available. We need more folks to ramp up our efforts and cover more ground. If you're a Verified Listener, please consider joining us: apply here! [https://www.7cups.com/forum/welcome/TheWelcomeCommitteeTeam_2670/CallingAllVerifiedListenersHelpWantedonthe7CupsWelcomeCommittee_332406/] Are you a new member who has been greeted by the WC? And do check out our top greeters of the month here [https://www.7cups.com/forum/welcome/TheWelcomeCommitteeTeam_2670/CongratulationstoourNovemberWelcomeCommitteeTeamMemberMilestones_340504/]! Hope One of the most exciting news from November is the launch of the 7 Cups scholarship! Open to both people in and outside the USA. Join us in shaping a brighter future for mental health care! More info can be found here [https://www.7cups.com/academy/] (info comes right after university logos listed on the page) It has been an eventful month on the teen side! Quests of Kindness continued with Weeks 2, 3, and 4 going live. Week 2 focused on kindness towards others, Week 3 on cultivating optimism, and Week 4 on building resilience. Teens and adult-teen listeners can still participate and catch up on tasks, the deadline to complete the challenge is December 15, 2024. We also launched Mission Revive TL, aimed at making the teen listener room a more engaging and supportive space. Interested in contributing? You can join the efforts here.  [https://www.7cups.com/forum/teens/TeenZoneCommunityTeam_590/MissionRevivingTLisBackbutonlyforalimitedTime_340860] Additionally, The Leadership Development Program (LDP) has adjusted its entry requirements, members can now join after just two weeks on 7 Cups (previously one month) The workshop series is getting quite some interest from our community users. ...See more 7 Cups runs on generosity and gratitude. All of us have big hearts and we look out for one another. In turn, we are champions at expressing gratitude and appreciation.  We have partnered with some researchers who are pioneering a new gratitude intervention. This takes you offsite to a research site called Qualitrics. The intervention just takes a few minutes. When done, please come back to this thread and post that you completed the survey and anything that you found interesting about the intervention.  We will then award you the gratitude badge (officially titled Survey Starin 7 Cups speak) in the coming days! Take the survey here! [https://www.7cups.com/survey/take5/] This opportunity is available to all users (members/listeners). You must be at least 18 to take part. Thank you all for your help! The more ways we can increase generosity and gratitude on 7 Cups the more people we can help.

Quarterly Community Survey Overview (January 2024)
by Heather225
Last post
January 27th
...See more I want to thank everyone who took the time to share their thoughts and suggestions in our recent community survey. Your feedback is invaluable, and I've been taking the time to carefully review it all. I'm excited to share some key areas where we're thriving as well as growth opportunities. Regarding the requests for technical improvements, we want to acknowledge that our resources have limitations. While we may not be able to fulfill every wish, your input is deeply appreciated and will guide our future development. We're committed to making this community the best it can be for everyone, and your voices are essential in that process. Here's some things we're doing well! - Most people who seek a space like this are likely willing to grow and listen to others, so it's simply the people who make it welcoming. - Mods are great with welcoming new members - The forums and the sessions in groups are very positive. - I think we are doing well in teams like PAT and the KP Team. I feel that it’s so sweet that we can appreciate each other and it’s so important to spread this kind of kindness around all the time - I like the threads and different options of interactions we have. I also love the guided thread reflections, and I like the different activities and challenges - I quite like that there have been many refresher quizzes and whatnot across the community. I notice that there are improvements in the leadership teams and I am most grateful. - Awesome autism community. - I think that we're good at giving vital information and we've got many amazing listeners here. We also have forum posts that are very helpful to many who read them. We are good at being supportive to one another as well. Improvement opportunities - Consistent and faster replies in the Needs Reply section - Making sure both members and listeners get welcomed in forums - Autism training material for listeners - Heightened awareness of the importance of self-care for those in roles - Cultivating the habit of welcoming people when they enter rooms and including them in conversations to increase inclusivity - More mod presence and available doorkeepers - That every team creates their own refresher quizzes to run monthly or quarterly - Better listener training and screening process (in the works) - More transparency as to what leaders are working on in the background. - Organize and highlight resources for members, similar to how listener resources are prevalent in forums. - App enhancements (ongoing) Our journey as a collective community is full of continuous growth, and with your participation, we can reach new heights of inclusivity, support, and positive impact. With that said, if any of the initiatives mentioned above interest you, and you’d like to contribute to helping us move them along, please let me know. Thanks, all!

New Community Feedback Process
by Heather225
Last post
June 21st, 2022
...See more Dear all, I am writing with an update on a new feedback process. Fristo and several others have been gently nudging us and letting us know that we need to have a tighter process, and here it is! 1. Submit any feedback here on this form. [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeKdc41mqdmvjANHvb-pKr2ec-snE8u9v1YT6tmHmLtNe8owQ/viewform] 2. We will review the feedback and contact you via the email you provide to let you know that we have received your submission and ask any clarifying questions. 3. We will review this feedback as a community team and choose the items we can realistically accomplish. There are a few things to keep in mind in terms of our rate of progress. First, we work hard and attempt to get as much done as we can, but we are not always able to accomplish as much as we’d like to accomplish. Second, sometimes urgent and unexpected items come up that we have to address. These can take us off track. Three, keeping 7 Cups operating requires a lot of energy. 99.8% of what we do is at no cost. Implementing new items or providing new training is over and above the operational costs and energy of keeping our community healthy and strong. We look forward to hearing from you and seeing what we can do together to improve our beloved community! When to use this vs. submitting a request under support and feedback: Feedback form: for site suggestions and community feedback. This form is NOT used for reporting users, glitches, account restoration, or therapy queries. Please go through the appropriate channels to file reports [https://www.7cups.com/forum/SiteUpdatesInformationFortheCommunity_100/HsHangout_1970/FilingBehavioralReportFormsAlltheinformationyoumightneed_242537/] and submit account reviews [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScqva6u9GVllcKFBro2ZOg2tugEknrU8cMoi__JJClisFZzJw/viewform]. Bugs: Found in the 7 Cups Help Center [https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us], use this support ticket submission form [https://help.7cups.com/hc/en-us/requests/new] and select Product Support (Bugs). If you do not receive a reply within 48-72 hours, email community@7cups.com Note: We encourage you to use this form instead of the Provide Feedback selection on the Submit a Request page. If you did not receive an email or you would like to follow up on your submission, please PM me.
Community Feedback: Playlist Paths

...See more Are you a fan of our Growth Paths? What would you think of being able to create your own? You may have read about it in our January Update. The Growth Path Playlist [https://www.7cups.com/forum/SiteUpdates_100/GlensNookCommunity_547/CreateandShareYourOwnGrowthStepsandGrowthPaths7CupsGrowthPathPlaylists_228306/] is a new feature that will allow trusted members, listeners, and experts to create their own growth path steps and entire growth paths (it’ll also work on the listener side with progress path steps and progress paths). Think about if you could completely personalize a growth path of your own: what would it be? What would be the topic you focus on? In what way would you want to help others with it? In preparation for our launch, we'd like to ask you to fill out this quick survey [https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScu0MhJRWoM5YF1g8fUvvy-S4mVFCkSsxxgA54V8lXG8g6dcQ/viewform] and let us know what categories/topics you would like to see. All thoughts welcome! This will be one of our biggest community-wide efforts yet and we look forward to what your collective intelligence, experience and creativity will surface in your own playlists to help one another in an all-new way!

Welcome to 7 Cups HQ.  This is where all news and updates will be posted by staff and ambassadors, subscribe to stay in the loop!
